Save the DateAnnual VCWQ Summit will be Saturday August 14th at Holiday Lake State Park
The Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay will be hosting this year’s summit at Holiday Lake 4H Educational Center, in Holiday Lake State Park. Additional information, draft agenda, and registration will available soon.

Strength and Stability Through Coordination...Virginia citizens have been involved in water quality monitoring for many years. There are organizations, such as the Citizens for Water Quality that support these monitoring activities. However, there has never been an organization of the citizen monitoring groups. Collaboration between citizen monitoring groups can provide a more effective approach to coordinating many of the basic functions of citizen monitoring; such as recruitment, protocols, and training. A citizen monitoring organization can also provide the individual monitoring groups with a louder voice regarding regional and state water quality issues. Mission:
